  • SAP Arts Festival

The SAP Arts Fest Committee is always looking for new members and Volunteers to help bring together this wonderful St. Anthony Park tradition. If you are interested learning more about volunteer opportunities for the Arts Festival, click the button below.

  • Book Sale

The SAPBLA Annual Book Sale relies on many generous volunteers for important tasks such as collecting donated books during our drive-by drop-off days, sorting and categorizing donated books, and working volunteer shifts during the two days of the book sale. Click the button below to learn more about how you can help or to join us as a volunteer.

  • Join the Board of SAPBLA

We are a community board that actively and financially supports library programs and many other needs of the SAP library.  We also present SAPBLA events at the library and in the neighborhood.   Our marquis events are the annual SAP Arts Festival and Book Sale.

If you would like to be considered for membership on the SAPBLA board, click the button below to learn more.

  • SAPBLA Forum

The SAPBLA Forum is where the community meets to celebrate and embrace ideas, issues, books, science, music, and the natural world.  Help us plan, publicize, and implement the monthly community forums featuring programs of community interest including many neighborhood guest experts.

(See the Archives for videos of past Forum Events)

  • SAPBLA Special Events Volunteer

Join us as a casual volunteer for events of interest to you!

Events might include helping out with crafting or building events at the library, marching in the 4th of July Parade, serving PIE at our annual PI DAY celebration or helping with other occasional needs of SAPBLA or the SAP Library.

  • SAPBLA Special Projects Volunteer

Join us on special projects that will benefit the library and are of interest to you!

These special projects will allow you to apply skills you have or to build new skills that you are eager to develop.  Projects will include documenting historical SAPBLA records, recording and editing Forum programs, and communicating about SAPBLA via photography, writing and media.

  • Weekly Weeders

The St. Anthony Park Garden Club club has planned, planted, and maintained the window boxes and the front lawn beds at the library for decades. Beginning in spring 2015, the Garden Club also began the process of renovating the hill behind the library into a perennial garden. The northeast side of the library's yard (along the side alley) is now home to a pollinator garden, while the hillside behind and to the south (near Como Avenue) presents flowering and foliage plants for all-season interest.

  • Luminary Festival

Join us as we celebrate moving from darkness to light in our annual Luminary Festival.

We welcome builders, organizers and singers to help prepare for this annual February community event at Langford Park.
