The St. Anthony Park Branch Library Association (SAPBLA) is a voluntary organization composed of community members. SAPBLA’s mission is to represent the interests of the community in the St. Paul Public Library, and especially in the St. Anthony Park Branch thereof. We undertake to make the library of greater significance in the life of the community and to increase the influence exerted by the community on behalf of the maintenance and growth of the library. SAPBLA supports programs and improvement projects at the St. Anthony Park Branch Library and we are the presenting sponsor of the St. Anthony Park Arts Festival. One of three Andrew Carnegie libraries to open in St. Paul in 1917, the building is not only an architectural gem, it is a lively and beloved neighborhood institution. Generations of children have enjoyed story times, families and students have connected with one another through library programs, and countless patrons have benefitted from the books, services, and essential, enriching resources available.
The St. Anthony Park Branch Library is part of the St. Paul Public Libraries system. Please visit the branch webpage for the hours, events calendar, and contact information of our local library branch.
