From devastating West Coast Blazes to smoke and poor air quality from burning northern forest, wildfires increasingly impact our daily lives. Join neighbor and video producer John Shepard, from Hamline University’s Center for Global Environmental Education, who will present segments from the in-development Rekindled documentary, and U of Minnesota forest scientist, Lee Frelich, as they share insights about Minnesota’s historic and current wildfires, evolving forest management practices, climate change impacts, and lessons to be learn from indigenous approaches to living with fire.
