Birds are the theme of Tom Will’s life. He worked as an ornithologist in Galápagos, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Chiapas, Mexico. Since retiring after 20 years as conservation biologist with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Tom has traveled the world in search of birds —most recently to Peru, Mongolia, Madagascar, Bhutan, Colombia, India, Ecuador, and Morocco.
In this May’s Forum Tom will share some of his most intimate bird encounters and with each story, profile a different amazing facet of avian evolution. Tom can't imagine living in a world without birds, and after tonight, he hopes you will feel the same way.
